Gift Shop

The Historical Society Gift Shop

features our Society publications and other books by local authors. We have a wide selection of handcrafted items typical of Pennsylvania folk art such as pottery, baskets, kitchen utensils, woodblocks, dolls, and wooden toys. We have a variety of cook books and momentos related to our Pennsylvania German heritage, as well as souvenir items like pins, teeshirts, postcards, and mugs.

Books for Sale

The following list is a sample of the books by local authors and books of local historical interest which are available for purchase in the Gift Shop or by mail. We do not have the capacity for online ordering. Please mail your request and check, made payable to Lebanon County Historical Society. Add $3.00 postage and handling for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book. Pennsylvania residents add 6% sales tax. Union Canal Tunnel Items

The Gift Shop also features several items that commemorate the Union Canal Tunnel, including teeshirts in adult and children’s sizes, sweatshirts, postcards, and woodblocks. You can support the efforts of the Friends of the Union Canal Tunnel Park by purchasing these items at the Gift Shop, at any Friends event, or at the Canal Boat Rides.

Hours of Operation

The Gift Shop is open whenever the Museum and Archives are open to the public, up to 15 minutes before closing time. The Historical Society is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and all holidays. The building may be closed for inclement winter weather.
